CO² reductie
Because of the social role the company plays, Artes Group considers it important to implement sustainable entrepreneurship in various ways. The CO²performance ladder plays an important part to achieve this. It allows us to map out ànd reduce our energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The CO₂ performance ladder is an initiative by the SKAO (Stichting Klimaatvriendelijke Aanbesteden & Ondernemen). It was developed to encourage companies to act in a (more) CO₂-conscious way.
The ladder is an effective tool that allows us to better manage our business and achieve gains in several key areas when realizing our projects.
Those key areas include the efficient use of materials, energy conservation and the use of renewable energy.
The realization that we, as an organisation, can and want to contribute to a cleaner planet and a healthier living environment is top of mind in the Artes Group. This shared responsibility has resulted in an entire range of efforts and activities with regard to sustainable entrepreneurship.

Artes has set effective targets and measures to reduce carbon emissions.
Among other things, the GHG report (document 3A1) provides insight into the energy flows and consumption of the Artes offices, including workshops and warehouses) in Kruibeke and Zeebrugge and of the past period’s projects.

Artes exchanges its knowledge of and experience with energy reduction with its stakeholders. Artes has introduced the CO₂ Performance ladder (as far as greenhouse gases are concerned), in an aim to continuously improve its global environmental impact.
