Aelterman was founded in 1952. For many years, it has been a reliable partner with extensive know-how in the field of steel constructions. The company specialises in steel bridges, lock gates, weir doors, crane components and related welded constructions according to plan. It is one of the few fabricators in Europe that can still carry out renovation and repair of riveted structures.
One of the production locations is on the Ghent-Terneuzen canal, where we have our own quay with ro-ro facilities. We are active at home and abroad.
